A Social Animal

Lana is not at all reserved with strangers like other babies her age. She’s very friendly. When we go to the mall, she waves to almost everybody. And in many ways she's becoming much more of a social animal. She knows and responds to her own name. Her dad playfully calls her the little rascal!

She babbles away, using vowels and consonants, in a tone that sounds very much like proper conversation. And she even understands simple instructions like open your mouth or follow Mummy in the bedroom. When we ask her where Elmo is, she pats him, or when we ask where the fan is and she points upwards at the fan. She points at something new as if she’s very surprised to see them. And yes, she likes to go out!!!

That’s our little Lana.
