Lana’s First Cupcakes

It’s Kim’s 2nd birthday celebratory dinner today. There were a good number of guests. The food was good, too. I particularly like the beefsteak that Liza cooked. To me, it was perfect! I didn’t know that she’s a good cook.
Lana also had a fun day. She characteristically picked up everything she found. She gobbled up a couple of mini coconut cupcakes and wanted some more. She sat on the back lawn and played with the grass.

She was exhausted after the party and had a sleep in the car. I usually bring her straight to bed to carry on sleeping. Just when my husband and I were about to sleep, a hype up Lana woke up. She was talking, laughing, giggling so much and almost jumping on the bed. My husband asked me if I gave her something sweet. I modestly said yes.

So, I held Liza’s cupcakes responsible for Lana’s unusual behavior last night. It was fun though to watch her so happy that night and tire herself out. I thought we would be awake for the whole night. Note to self: no more cupcakes for Lana.
